Red and White Tussar Silk Saree

Desi Tussar silk is an exquisite thread obtained from a wide winged moth that is yellowish-brown in color. These silk moths are a true wonder of nature. They are called Emperor Moths or Saturnids. Its affinity for dyes makes it a great choice as a fabric.

A pure  handwoven Tussar Silk saree in red with Hand Block Floral Prints in white and Zari border. The saree is paired with an unstitched blouse fabric (last image).
