Mustard and Green Tussar Silk Saree

Kosa Silk is the Sanskrit name of Tussar Silk. They are made from silk produced by silk worms whose wings are embellished by circular markings, that looks like a mirror. You can see a reflection of yourself when you look closely into these circular markings. 

Desi Tussar Silk is highly valued for its natural gold colors, stronger and more durable. Its natural sheen and light weight makes it a great choice as a fabric.

A pure  handwoven Tussar Silk saree in natural tussar with Hand Block Floral Prints and no Zari border. The saree is paired with an unstitched blouse fabric (last image).
