Mustard and Red Tussar Silk Saree

Tussar Silk is obtained from variety of silk worms belonging to the moth genus Antheraea. They eat oak leaves, jamun leaves which are high in tannin. The tannin in the leaves imparts the pale gold colour characteristics to the tussar silk. This lustrous, golden-hued silk has a natural sheen and is light weight.

Hand Block Printed fabric is created by artisans with special skill and care that makes it attractive. These prints are beautiful renditions of plants, animals and human nature. It is a celebration of ecological integrity; people, plants and nature are closely involved in each step.

A pure  handwoven Tussar Silk saree in mustard with Hand Block Floral Prints in red and black and no Zari border. The saree is paired with an unstitched blouse fabric (last image).
